Gentlemen,

Though I am very critical of those who fall short of the mark in any aspect of elected or appointed office, I will boldly stand up and shout "atta-boys" to anyone trying to do it right.

DC Cox, You are at least trying to fix what you can and have given all the forum to bring their issues straight to you. I hope that those doing most of the complaining are at least sending you some form of solution for the problems the deem needs attention. This is very refreshing to witness by some of us have spent many years at this agency.

Would be nice to see it come from the Chief too!

Saying that, I invite all who have ideas and concerns to act on the DC's invite. If he is not informed, he cannot respond or act.

We are very loud when the department does not hold up it's end, so lets also give credit where it is due. On the front page where it says to tune in and see how the county does with keeping up with the improvement plan it only has the pay differential. I would like the site administrator to add that Zone 2 and 3 have went to 10 hour shifts and the take home car program has been started. I do know of regular front line officers in the precincts that have gotten their take homes.

Not that much has changed. Of all of us that interviewed for a CAC Detective position, an officer with two years road experience got the job because of her last name. Favortism is still alive and well.

This site was not designed for individual sour grapes.
Maybe you didn't interview well. Maybe you are not well thought of. Maybe your judgement is questionable.
This site was designed for Officers to voice issues that affect everyone and the department as a whole. It's not about you or me, it's about fixing things that were real issues and not for people to complain about feeling slighted.

The front page of the Ducimus site has been updated with the last six months of progress. As far as I can tell, the Improvement Plan is moving forward on schedule. Feedback?
